I was lucky to see the sale for the Rice Wine Shop (pictured, Brewer St, nr Picadillly tube) Eat good Katsu Curry here for as little as £7,
natural natural (Finchley Road tube or Ealing Common tube) and TK Trading (near Harlesden will have fresh items as well as the Japanese staples/ look for sales in the Weekly Journey: online or pick up at Japanese stores or sites.
Cheaper supermarkets such as Lidl now do stock some staples, and are worth comparing; Korean shops are often good value for instant and frozen Japanese items or snacks.
